All-Russia Conference on Reinsurance has come to its 14th edition
All-Russian Union of Insurers, with the support of the business center "DELOVOY Format", proudly presents their next conference "Reinsurance Efficiency: Lessons of Crisis", to take place in Moscow, National Hotel, on 25-26 March 2010. The annual All-Russian Reinsurance Conference has traditionally become a major social event which brings together Russian reinsures and their foreign colleagues for the 14th time already. In 2009, the Conference was attended by 450 Russian and foreign reinsurers and guests, members of government bodies, market experts and mass media from 18 countries.
The Conference on Reinsurance, supported by XPRIMM Insurance & Pensions as Media Partner, will also be the first one organized as a working meeting, a venue for discussing the most complicated issues faced every day by the Russian reinsurers, as well as by their foreign partners.
During the plenary meetings, the Conference will sum up the results of 2009 and help gain insights on future prospects for the development of reinsurance business in Russia and in the international market.
For the first time ever, the Conference will consider not only reinsurance specialists' professional activities, but also charity, a topic particularly important during an economic recession. On March 25, 2010 the charity event "To Save the Life of a Child" will be held for the Russian Aid Fund (www.rusfond.ru). The money thus earned will be used to help sick children who really need the help. During the event, works authored by insurers will be auctioned and a concert will be held.
In the opinion of the Conference Organizing Committee, consisting of top managers of Russian and foreign insurance, reinsurance and brokerage companies (http://re-confenece,ru/orgcom.html), it is such major events that can and should resolve global and local problems facing the reinsurance community and draw attention to principal moral values common to all of us.
