CERTASIG has a new Reinsurance Manager
Andrei MIRAUTA is the new Reinsurance Manager of CERTASIG, position that was previously held by Dragos CIOCAN. With only 29 years of age, Andrei MIRAUTA already has a six years experience in the reinsurance field.
"My main target is using the knowledge I own in the reinsurance field, to contribute, along with my new coworkers, to a long lasting development of the company. Another objective would be the correlation of the CERTASIG portfolio's particularities with the most efficient reinsurance protection, taking into consideration the paths in which the company chooses to go. As we all know, reinsurance is and will be a very important support for any insurance company, the Solvency II context confirming this", declared Andrei MIRAUTA for XPRIMM Newsletters.
Before taking this role, the current CERTASIG Reinsurance Manager was OMNIASIG Head of Inward Reinsurance. Within the same company he was also Head of Facultative and Fronting Business and Reinsurance Underwriter.
CERTASIG was founded in 2003, as a result of the merger between FORTUNA S.A. Baia Mare and The Romanian-Canadian Assurance AROCA S.A. Bucuresti joining forces. At the beginning of 2008, the ROYALTON Capital investment fund announced the acquisition of 95% of CERTASIG, sustaining the company with the purpose of expanding it towards Central and Eastern Europe.
