The Parliament voted the new componence of the ISC Council. Constantin BUZOIANU is the new President
The reunited Finance Budget Commissions' proposals were confirmed on September 27th, by the Plenum of Parliament.
Thus, with a total of 230 votes, Constantin BUZOIANU, favorably approved for this position on September 27th, during the meeting of the reunited Finance Bugdet Commissions, was appointed ISC President for the next five years.
Of the total 469 Members of the Parliament, 239 were present, under the circumstances in which the minimum necessary number of MPs present to meet the quorum was 236. 234 valid votes were expressed. Of these, for the ISC President position, Constantin BUZOIANU obtained 230 votes, Tudor BALTA, candidate for Vice President, got 232 votes, while Cornel Coca CONSTANTINESCU received 234 votes for Vice President.
Also, Doru Claudian FRUNZULICA obtained 231 votes for the position of Member of the ISC Council. Given the outcome of the votes for each candidate, all those proposed were appointed for a 5 years term.
The other three Members of the ISC Council are Albin BIRO (reinvested for a 5 years term, starting September 12th, 2007), Dan CONSTANTINESCU (reinvested for a 5 years term, starting February 1st, 2010) and Daniela POPA (appointed for a 5 years term, starting February 1st, 2010).
