VIDEO: EUROASIG launched a public insurance awareness campaign
EUROASIG Grup has recently launched an awareness campaign entitled "It is good to be insured!". This initiative has as main purpose increasing the population's education regarding insurance products and their benefits.
The action consist in broadcasting three different TV spots for motor, property and life insurance, and also delivering informational materials in the written press and not only.
"The campaign is aiming to raise awareness, consciousness and responsibility among citizens of Republic of Moldova regarding the importance and advantages of insurance", stated Ion LACATUS, General Manager, EUROASIG, for xprimm.md.
The average amount spent per capita in the Republic of Moldova on insurance in the previous year was EUR 15.65 for insurance products (by comparison with EUR 1,000 in EU countries), 92 eurocents for life insurance and EUR 14.73 for assets insurance.
In 2010, the total volume of the insurance market in the Republic of Moldova rose up to EUR 55.78 million, 6.5% more than in 2009.
