VIG analyzes the Polish company WARTA before making an offer
VIENNA Insurance Group, the largest insurer in Central and Eastern Europe, could begin next month the due-diligence process in the Polish company WARTA, before making a concrete offer.
"The process will begin in the first half of October. We will carefully analyze the data and we will decide on the acquisition", said Gunter GEYER, CEO, VIG.
If this transaction is finalized, VIG will become the second insurance company on the Polish market, after PZU. GEYER did not give details regarding a possible price.
